First Post-Jam Update and Future Plans


The GMTK Jam 2024 is officially over, and we're releasing our first post-jam update build!


During the voting period, we received some invaluable feedback from players, which led us to two key insights:

1. We need checkpoints!

  • A significant number of players reported that they would enjoy the game much more if it had some kind of a checkpoint system.
  •  With more time for play-testing, we can now identify specific areas that might be too challenging/frustrating, therefore better balance the experience.

2. Potential for a full-fledged game

  • After putting 4 intense days into developing this prototype, we've come to see its potential to evolve into a complete game project.
  • We've also identified a specific target audience for the game, not only based on the feedback from some of the reviewers.

First post-jam update build

In this update, we've implemented basic checkpoint system to reduce frustration and enhance the overall experience. Additionally, we've fixed some audio issues and several minor bugs that emerged during testing.

Future Plans

We're committed to expanding this prototype into a full-fledged project.
What does it mean for the experience:

  • Further polishing and extending the game mechanics.
  • Adding more content, including art, models, level and structural changes.
  • Developing a more elaborate story arc.
  • A potential full release on Steam and itch.io.
